Our little snuggly bear

Luke still loves Elmo, even though he dreamed Elmo was punching him in the stomach.
This little Hitler stash just happened after an art project at the library.
Crazy how those markers can't stay on the paper.

No joke, Luke put this 46 piece puzzle together all by himself.  He requests puzzles about 15 times a day.  It is amazing to see his little mind work.  He figures it out faster than I can.

Sam loves doing it with him and they fight over who gets to put in the last piece.
Then they tear it up by stomping on it and start again.

7 year anniversary date.  We ate at the space needle in downtownSan Antonnio.
Beautiful views,  charming sunset and perfect company.  7 years, 3 moves and 3 kids later.

Joy School and Zoo

We are doing Joy School with Dinah and Maisie.  The boys just love it.  We currently are learning about confidence and uniqueness.  Last week, we went on a field trip to the zoo with the girls.  They are the sweetest girls and the boys always ask for "huggies" when we say goodbye.

Aunt Branny and Uncle Claire

Man, oh man!  We had the best time with Branny and Claire.  So much, in fact, Sam cried when we left.  Not the tantrum cry, but the "I am going to miss you too much" cry.  We went to the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.  The kids got to race a whale, create our own dragon, and see ourselves through a thermal camera.  Our last day was windy and cold, so we roasted marshmellows in their new home.  Sam loved teaching Claire and Bran how to play Plants vs. Zombies and Luke enjoyed putting a new dinosaur puzzle together with them.   And of course, Tessa was adored by all.   Oh, and the running joke was, "I'm not your buddy, pal!  I'm not your pal, friend.  I'm not your friend, guy."

Top right: A visit with Evan Rowley.  He was our good friend in Los Angeles.
They are in Waco and expecting their 3rd boy.

The Baileys

One of the many great things about living in Texas is that we are in driving distance to our friends and family.  We got to visit the Baileys again.  It is wonderful to spend time with Kari while our kiddos play.
